    Purpose & budget

Study, medical recovery, or longer stay, plus commute constraints and ARC status.

  2. 02

    Neighborhood shortlist

2–3 areas with housing-type notes (one-room, share, serviced). You choose.

  4. 04

    You sign with them

Pay only the account on the contract; keys from agent or owner. We do not hold deposits.

  • Purpose-based area memo before you waste weekends on wrong neighborhoods.
  • Purpose-based area memo before you waste weekends on wrong neighborhoods
  • Recommendation only is fine — deal support is optional
  • English middle ground through signing; you pay only the contract account

What we do / what we don’t

We do

  • Recommend areas and coordinate deals in English
  • Shortlist 2–3 neighborhoods and a housing type for your purpose
  • Optionally introduce a local neighborhood agent and explain the Korean contract through signing

We don’t

  • Act as landlord, listing site, or licensed real-estate agent
  • Publish fees, KRW rents, or fake listing counts
  • Guarantee a specific unit, the cheapest rent in Seoul, or that every landlord accepts passport-only stays
  • Scrape or republish portal listings or photos
  • Hold deposits or receive rent into HezoKorea accounts
  • Give legal advice; Korean contract text usually controls

A housing address does not automatically become an ARC address — immigration rules are separate. There is no fixed package fee; we quote via inquiry after reviewing your case.

Frequently asked questions

How much does housing help in Korea cost?
Quoted via inquiry after we review your case. Third-party fees (schools, clinics, hospitals, government) are billed separately.
Can foreigners rent an apartment in Seoul?
Yes. Foreigners can rent in Seoul. The practical path depends on purpose, budget, stay length, and whether you have an ARC. We shortlist areas first; optional real estate deal support helps you finish a Korean lease in English.
What is Housing recommendation vs Real estate deal?
Housing recommendation is the core service: a purpose-based neighborhood shortlist. Real estate deal is an optional add-on after you choose an area, local agent introduction and English explanation of the Korean contract through signing.
Do I need an ARC to rent in Korea?
Not by law. It is legal to sign without an ARC. In practice, many landlords still ask for an ARC on longer ordinary wolse leases. If you do not have one yet, we point you toward stay types that can work with a passport.
Are you a real-estate agent?
No. We coordinate and explain in English. The local 부동산 or landlord handles the licensed agency side of the deal.
Who is this service for?
Foreigners who need housing for study, medical care, or a longer stay in Korea. HezoKorea coordinates in English.
